The lodge is located in southern Missouri on the Black river. It is also near the highestpoint in Missouri and the Johnson Shutins.

It had been 12 years since we were told that we were never welcome here again. We thought that with new owners we could sneek past their defences so we booked under the Lang family reunion and did our best to get banned again. We managed to convince one of the workers to open up the hot tub after hours and of HER OWN FREE WILL she brought champagne to us in the hot tub. After we were done she let us into the lodge (where it was warm) to dry off and for COMPLIMENTARY White Russians. We were told that she was asked to leave the next day. We never did get a chance to thank her for her hospitality.
